Free soft water demonstration
Hello, I'm Harvey!
When I started selling water softeners, more than thirty years ago, they were cumbersome, wasteful and inefficient. Over the years I've invented the compact twin-tank system, convenient block salt, and a much better valve - all of which add up to a softener that fits under the sink, needs no maintenance, and provides soft water 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Book a demonstration today to see for yourself the difference it makes. Remember, you can try a water softener for three months, and if you don't like it, we'll give you all your money back.
What our customers say
I am writing to let you know how pleased I am with the water softener installed by your company last June. It has made a big difference to my comfort, and I don't know how I managed without it.Ray, Reading
My wife and I have been pleasantly surprised at the difference using your water softener has made to the day-to-day running of our home, it is a product that I would recommend to anyone living in a hard water area.Peter, Chislehurst
Soft water is better for your skin, better for your hair, and better for your home. Softened water will make your heating system work more efficiently, and make your bath, shower, sink and taps easier to clean.
Book a free demo today, and we’ll show you how soft your water can be, and what a difference it could make to your home. Of course, there’s no obligation to buy anything.
Luxury for your skin and hair
Soap and shampoo react with hard water to make scum, which is very difficult to wash away. This happens in the washing machine too, so that your skin is affected by it almost all the time. It’s no wonder that eczema is so much more common in hard water areas, and that so many people report that their eczema clears up after they get a water softener.
How a water softener works
The only way to soften all the water in your home is with an ion-exchange water softener. These softeners work by taking out the calcium and magnesium ions from the water (the ones that lead to scum and scale) and replacing them with harmless sodium ions. Ion exchange water softeners use salt water to clean themselves when they get fully loaded with the hardness ions.
We manufacture the best ones
A Harvey’s water softener is the best on the market. They have two softening tanks working at the same time, so they can clean themselves and keep on working at the same time. They use as little water and salt as possible, and they work just as well whether you use a lot of water or a little. They keep on working for upwards of twenty years.
The price of a water softener will vary depending on the plumbing in your home, your water usage, the water hardness in your area, etc. To find out how much you would pay, please book a quotation.
Pays for itself after two years
When you buy a Harvey’s water softener, you’re making an investment that will be repaid within - on average - two years. From then on, you can enjoy the luxury of soft water in the knowledge that you’re saving money too - on soap, washing powder, cleaning products, heating bills and repairs to your household appliances.
Quality counts
It’s possible to buy cheaper systems that purport to do the same thing. Some are very bad - they just stop the scale building up without actually softening the water, or they only work in one place, like the shower. Others are almost as good as ours - there are ones that are similar to ours, but they have electrical timers that need programming, and others that let hard water into your system while they clean themselves. Some simply don’t last as long.
Free demonstration
Most of our customers start by having a free demonstration in their home. One of our demonstrators will soften some water straight from your tap, and show you the difference it makes. They’ll also be able to have a look at your plumbing and determine the exact water softener system that is right for you. That will enable them to give you an accurate quotation.
In 56 years of married life, one of the best purchases we have ever made! Congratulations. Mr P, Kent
