What does softened water taste like?
This is a matter of preference. Often people tend to favour the type of water they grew up with for drinking. Some would say that softened water is bland.
Most people prefer the taste of softened water in tea and coffee. The difference in taste compared to hard water can be quite significant.
Ultimately, the taste of your water will highly depend on your incoming water supply. You will only really be able to find out what your water would taste like after softening by having some of it softened.
