3 of your 5 a day

We all try to get our 5-a-day but let’s face it, there are some days where it can be difficult, especially when trying to persuade your little ones to finish their greens.. That’s where smoothies come in really handy. They can blend multiple fruits and veg into one drink, making it quicker and easier to get your essential nutrients. Don’t be put off by the kale or spinach in this one, the fruit overpowers it making it easier to be healthy.

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • ¼ of a pineapple (1 ½ cups)
  • 2 cups kale or spinach
  • ½ cup of coconut milk
